Africa got under my skin long before boardrooms!​

In 2005, living inside semi-urban communities taught me that success in African markets is practical; not mysterious. People don’t make irrational choices; they make smart ones with what they have. I only realized years later that these experiences were the foundation for my real “street MBA.”​

I started my first African venture in 2010, selling cell phones in Zimbabwe to fund my studies. I tried, learned, and refined until I wasn’t just building businesses; I was structuring outcomes. ​

That street-level education became the foundation for everything that followed: over the years, I’ve advised 200+multinationals on pan-African market entry and growth strategies, and structured multi-million dollar deals. I know what global ambition looks like once it meets African reality. ​

​But the work I care about most is not the headline deal. It’s real, profitable African businesses: the ones with actual assets, in value addition, manufacturing, agriculture, and more. Not the tech start-ups chasing hypergrowth, but companies that make and move things, and earn real cash flow. Working with them, I kept seeing the same gap, from two sides. Many professionals want to start a business in Africa, build real income and create value. Meanwhile, the African growth companies that could use that energy and capital often can’t find it. The opportunities were there. What was missing was the bridge.​

​That’s why I founded H2Ventures and The AfriPreneur program. My mission is simple: I help ambitious professionals start, grow, and invest in profitable African businesses. I do it through practical guidance, disciplined decision-making,and structured support, so that capital flows to where it can compound into real African value, and the people who back it earn a real return.​
